Where "Pot-Peekers" are welcome
"Pot-Peekers" are normally banned from the kitchen because they just keep everyone off their work, but during the Fair they are warmly welcomed. But only at one particular place: namely at the pot-market behind the Rathaus. Potters from all over Germany put up their stands here.
You find everything - cookery pots, pots for bread, herrings, sauerkraut, mustard, sugar, beet syrup, brick pots, flower pots, even chamber pots. Here you will be offered an incredible selection of pots in typical and traditional but also in modern shapes, colours and patterns - at prices to suit every pocket. And many a visitor who really only wanted to "peek" has left with at least a cruet set.
